Not trying at all ??

Did you try it again with the filter out ??

If you have spark, fuel and airflow... it should at least be making
some sort of noise... coughing, backfiring or catching and dying :?

No broken, split or dislocated air ducts between the AFM and intake
plenum/airbox ??

ok i think i might have it..

i opened the ecu and found the pin for the start signal, labelled 'STA'. I found the corrosponding pin on the loom ecu plug, and jammed one end of a multimeter probe into it.

Then I found the start signal line where it meets the starter wire coming from positive battery, and pushed the other multimeter probe against the bare wire, and found it didnt have conductivity. So now im going to trace my start signal wire and check for breaks. joy!

it doesnt have conductivity when the ignition is on or off, this should be right, right?

ok scratch that, repaired the connection, confirmed conductivity, no change. also i dont think it was the starter line, not sure which one it was but it goes to the body harness for the car from a relay in the boot.
