Postby AW11 Turbo » Mon Dec 17, 2007 4:18 am

hi!

i've a little problem with the wiring of a 4agze out of an ae101 gt-z into the ae92 of a friend...

well... the ae101 gt-z was never sold here in europe so here is no wiring diagram available :?

the pins of the third ecu plug were the smaler problem...
inside they are labeled

Try the tech section in club4ag.com, they have wiring diagrams etc.
Fc is fuel pump I think, b+ etc is battery.
That plug is the dash loom, the other two are engine loom.
Just pull the lid off the old ecu and swap the coresponding wires over.

i think you misunderstood me...
my problem is not the third ecu plug wich goes to the body harness...
(i have this ecu plan from club4ag and i allready labeled the wires of the third ecu plug of the ae92)
-> my problem is that i have no plan for the two plugs i marked on the picture above wich also go to the body harness...
i think they should also be on this plan... "F1" and "F2" i think... but the pin numbers on this plan do not match with my ae101 engine harness!

The best way is to bellout/trace those wires, you will find that they are for A/C, dash warning lights, guages etc....

as above i had the same problem, we changed the loom and had oodles of wires left over just use a muilty meter and do it one at a time there should be some plugs in the car under the gear shifter where they plugged into in the first place.
GOOD LUCK

Yeah, all the one's I have done I just sat down in front of the TV with a multi-meter and a pen and paper
and continuity tested them to trace where the all go.
For how many times I have ended up doing it and how
often people want to know I should have kept all the info.

anyway memory tells me,

Browns are earth's, and there's quite a few,
some are A/c and go to the pressure switches etc etc,
oil pressure sender for gauge or light,
Temp sensor for gauge

The biggest trick with the AE92's in the alternator light wire.

It runs in ot the fuse box under the bonnet and runs down the inner guard.

So you are fitting an AE101 loom into an AE92?
You may need to run the alt light wire back out from the plugs you show,
out to the fuse box under the dash.

You AE92 body will have a wire in the two plugs that would have gone to the AFM to switch the fuel pump on,
the AE101 loom will be switched from the 3rd plug in the ecu,
and the AE101 loom has wires in the two plugs to control the two speed fuel pump circuit in the ae101, and your AE92 body does not.

You can get it all to work, but it is far from plug in and go.
