Are TPS's interchangable between 4ages?

ive swapped bluetop and redtop ones without an issue. the steel "arms" inside which turn with the butterfly have a keyway type of thing on them though; sometimes this places it vertically, sometimes horizontal.

depending on what type of TPS you have it may not work. it can be fixed by swapping parts from the throttle body the TPS has come off too.

i bet none of this makes sense, but pull if off and you should see what I mean otherwise i'll get pics
