Longer conrods?

Postby ke25sr » Sun Feb 10, 2008 10:13 pm

I am about o spend a stupid amount of cash on a new 3TGEU.

I plan on using a longer Con rod with Custom Piston. I understand what it does.

What i want to no is how this will affect power and torque?
Has any 1 here used a long rod and custom piston?

hmm, better response due to less piston weight maybe... but I'm guessing.

there is less weight over both piston and rod.
the main differance is the angle of the rod while the crank is at 90 degrees.

I am just curious to the difference in power/torque they will make.

I did a bit of research on that,

search rod ratio on google.
