Anhh another WRC owner .. welcome to rare club

Ill assume yours is a JDM one :) ( NZ new group A here )

mine runs 16 daily , but will spike upwards to 18 psi and hit boostcut on cold nights

No tweaks to management , just ste standard group A ECU and a 3" dumppipe

Still goes strong , though the interwarmer could be more efficient , and boost would be better if it could be stabilised

surley there must be someway to stabilize the boost. ideas from people would be good.

external wastegate, or standard, less than 3" diameter downpipe .

as sergei mentioned, he went to great lengths to try retain the standard internal wastegate, and couldnt quite keep it from overboosting and spiking. can't remember what he did in the end. there is a thread somewhere, search for "ct20b overboost"

Weird that you guys had issues with them overboosting, once I sorted out the placement of the wastegate pipe on my downpipe it never moved from the desired boost level.

Quite a rare car in NZ . Does yours still have the Antilag and other bits still intact ?

mones st205-0002005

According to pamly north toyo headquarters it was the first EVER st205 to be sold in NZ ..

Dunno what that exactly means - ie if it was the first to be sold to a dealer in the country , but its records are the earliest ..

Wish i could get a straight answer out of them , finding any information has been a challenge

Even spoke to Neal allport ( nz rally chamion ) the other day

he cant even recall driving richards one for the magazine feature back in 1994 ..
