Clutch Run In Procedure ...

Postby Bumpy » Wed Feb 13, 2008 9:37 pm

I've seen a few topics around, saying bad clutches and vibrations can be cause by an improper clutch run in procedure.

So ....... What is a PROPER Run In Procedure?

How nice? Like under under 3000rpm launches or really gentle on the clutch let out?

Just try and avoid slipping it too much, you're ment to do a certain amount of stop start driving for some, but you'd need to read the instructions if it comes with them, or check their site if it's a good make.

She isn't the 90 year old down at the bottom of out street then with an old Fiat or something. She must be deaf and stand hard on the loud pedal and then ease the clutch out over about 10 seconds until she is moving down the road. Very surprised that car still goes
