removing steering wheel from coloumn - st215

Hi there im having trouble removing the steering wheel off the coloum, i have un done the star shapped screws, got the airbag off and un done the big nut in the center and the steering wheel wont budge, ive also put it in to a vice and tried to yank it off but the whole work bench wil just move!

am i doing something wrong here?

Go pick yourself up a steering wheel puller, makes life easy

will just be on tight probably, I got a cut lip not so long ago due to this problem :oops: *YANK....WHACK...$&@%^@$*

as mentioned, if its that tight, get a puller

:lol: Sounds like the column isn't in a car, so a puller is the easiest way. They're not expensive and I'm surprised how often I've used mine.
