Rust on my corolla - Problem?

Postby ADIKTD » Sun Mar 16, 2008 5:51 pm

I have just noticed when I lifted my boot that there is a bit of rust on the roof of my AE101 Corolla (1993) Its just surface rust at this stage but who knows... It's only really noticeable when the boot is lifted half way up and you can see across, is this a problem? bad? How to treat or fix? thanks

This is the first time ive posted photos so I dunno if they work but here goes

Any help greatly appreciated!

id give it a sand with some light sand paper and put a coat of PA-10 or another primer on it, just to inhibit it for a bit

Depending on where you are Car Kolour (If you look for the name try switching the K and C round, or they might both be K's  ) in Albany do it too.

Make sure you're getting automotive paint, not house paint :P
