Is anyone able to tell me what the deal is with my diff?

Done a search on here and Google... haven't been able to read properly or info was vague...

I have a G319, in a JZA70-R Auto. Wouldn't mind knowing how to read this.

Cheers

Yup it is a torsen....

Just be careful with it (they break if shocked too hard), other than that they are great!

Yeah well i gave my last one a little bit of a hard time and no worries.

So atleast i have sorted the coding out for this.

whats the code on yours Py7h0n? G089 or something like that? i think i rememebr my manual one being a 4.11 or something along them lines... hmmm

How can i go about getting a lower ratio in my diff... apart from trying to get me a Turbo-A one or what ever they were called

my JZA had a 4.1 in it, which I then swapped for the 3.9 (I think it was that way round) The 4.1 is much nicer, however yours is auto so not sure how all the ratios work out.

I have the old 4.1 diff here, its rather worn but the gearsets are ok. I dont own it however 92gtapex does, I have a bit of stuff here thats his, so you might want to ask him and see if he is willing to sell?
