LSD fitment to New Hilux

Hi all,

I'm wondering how easy/costly it is to put a lsd in a 2007 Hilux Workmate.
Its just the work-spec single cab ute, single spinner.

Looking at getting a new boat, and the ute almost gets stuck on a slippery ramp just pulling a jet ski out.

Even with the 2WD, will it be suitable? I pulled out my mates boat (similar size) on the w/e with his 4wd hilux, I kept it in 2wd though and it didn't slip at all.

AFAICT the boat will weigh 650kg + trailer....

Auto or manual?
Auto... just put your left foot on the brake lightly - just enough to stop the wheels spinning but not stop both turning at the normal speed.
Works great for me in the big fat falcon when im towing something on grass.

just go to ya local dealer and ask

the diff itself is the same as previous models
but some of the bearings are a bit different

cuso guy on trademe in chch doing real lsd not cheap factory standard hilux ones doing them for f series diffs got g series(hilux) lsd to, there just over 1g new worth it tho.
