Quick ST16* Question

I have just heard that the ST16* celica that came with the 5SFE engine had 4x100 hubs. Is this true?

Also, I don't suppose if anyone knows offhand if those hubs have the same splines as a ST202 halfshaft?

There was a AT162 (with 4AGE) which had the 4x100 hubs.

The 5SFE was a USDM in the ST18* series. i'm sure one of the celica nuts will correct me though

If it's 4age then chances are the splines won't be the same, right?

I saw one of those AT16* celicas at pickapart a few months ago...

Splines in the hub are the same.
5SFE comes in export versions only and in only ST18X-ST20X series as far as I am aware.
2S(E) will have 4x100 hubs.
3S(F/G)(T/E) will have 5x100 hubs.
A powered will have 4x100 hubs.

Could be, 2SE, also I have seen (if my memory is correct) 2Si which is single point injection, also they came out with carb. Also there was a 1S version as well (which is 1.8L).

Did the 1S come in things like Coronas and Camrys? I'm going to be keeping an eye on the pickapart website and TM etc

1s's come in early series ST15X nz new and jap coronas in FWD config. you can also get celicas with the 1s and 2s in RWD, kinda rare tho
