1G-GTE dizzy to 1G-GZE CPS swap

Has anyone done this?
I have all the bits from the GZE.
1:15.4 around Pukekohe
13.63 @ 169kmph at Meremere
Fastest MK3 at Suprafest 08
1G-GTE - Stinger 4424, T04B 60-1, 440cc injectors - 240rwkw @ 16psi

Yeah mine is now running CAS. dizzy takes up too much room, i used mitsi diamante coils, mainly because they were cheap but also because they were cheap.

also my criteria when choosing parts.
Are the diamante ones the same as evo? I'm sure I have heard someone say that before, and yet the diamante ones sell way cheaper

Well at present I'm using the dizzy as a CPS/CAS - and using 7M coils with a misti igniter.
But my main problem with the swap is the thermostat housing and finding high and low water pressure areas for the water cooling part of the turbo.....

could you please take some pictures of your thermostat housing setup and water pump as well? The GZE pump I have is different to the GTE that I'm using....

AHA.. the thermostat housing why didn't you say so, i'm pretty sure the one i use is off a telstar (don't laugh) all i did was talk nicely to the fella at repco and he let me rummage out the back of his store. sorry won't be able to get pics to you until after the 17th as that's when i'm back in the country. with the diamante coils slightly dufferent to early evo ones. also don't get the mivec coils as they are weird, they are waste spark but ine plus is run off a lead and the other runs directly onto the coil. i'd be taking a guess here but somewhere around 94 6g72 (not 6g72m).

water pumps.. are a almost a direct replacement (30 seconds on a grinder and it's all good...) unfortuneately i had to trial fit a couple of times to get it to work. probably not enough room in my engine bay to get decent pics of waterpump setup but can try??
also i might be able to get a part number for the thermostat housing if it's got one stamped on it.

Water cooling, there is a port next to the oil filter and a high one the inlet runner for number 1. my turbo is just oil cooled.. i'm too cheap to get a flash decent turbo, but maybe one day.

i reckon my car has more bits off different model cars than original equipment.
FTO, SUPRA, HILUX, LANDCRUISER, DIAMANTE, TELSTAR, RX7, CAMRY, CORONA. ETC.. The list goes on.

checked the engine and no numbers on the thermostat housing sorry...
