how to identify a diff

hey ive got a ta22 celica and as ive been going through upgrading things ive noticed that its quiet a mungrel of a toyota,(4age engne and box, ae86 struts, the list goes on) anyway had a look at the diff in it and it looks like the mounts(atleast some of them) have been rewelde on, which got me thing if its actully a ta22 diff.

ill get a pic up tomorrow but is there any way to tell, any marks etc? drum size? diff ratio?
