tyre sizing

hey guys have 235-45-17s on 8 inch rims at the front an 235-45-17s at rear on 9inch rims, i want to put 255s at the rear should i decrease profile to 35 or 40 to make the front an rear almost same height, front ones will still be 235s

jza80 supra = 11.7

had 235/45/17's on front on a 8" rim, and 265/40/17's on a 9" rim, and were about the same size overall. 255/40/17's will be fine
