depends how serious you want to get, and how badly damaged the journals are. if the journals are still in good nick i would be tempted to try a new set of bearings! could do it in place and only costs $40 or so for the bearings.

you could possibly even buy just a bottom end

if budget is tight, theres plenty of cheap ways!

I don't mind spending $500 to $1000. I want it stock and to last. As I will just use it for a work hack. I don't want to spend money on it and to die five minutes later.
