What width wheel for 185/60R14 tyres???

I've just got some old track tyres (Hankook Z2000) for my AE92 to have a fang around on. What width wheel would be best for them? Are the factory toyota alloys for that size 6inch wide?
Coud I get away with 5.5inch, or is that too narrow?
Need to find some cheap rims or alloys to fit them on.

Yep you can fit em on a 5.5" wide rim. THe first RX7 I bought had 205/50/13 Eagers on the factory 13x5.5 rim

Holy crap!!!
Will it make the shape of the tyres go "funny" by putting them on a narrow rim? I'll keep the pressures quite high for these too, as I believe the circuit's we'll be running will be quite twisty and not so much high speed.

185's should be ok, I have them on my wagon on a 5.5" rim and they're a little balloony, but not ridiculously so.

I've got 185/55-14's running on 5-1/2" rims, and they work fine. Don't
look strange either Probably 6" would be better, but if all you can
find at the right price are 5-1/2's, they will do the job.

Make sure you carry a spare + jack + tools.

I had stupid amounts of punctures on the rear of my old MR2 when I had Z2000's on that, on the road.

Also note, the tyres will be bald in couple thousand km at the most

Girlfriends ae101 has 195/60/14's on factory 5.5's no problem.

I wont be using the tyres on the road. Just for tarmac sprints and stuff like that. The car probably wont get off Base much at all, once I've got my other one going.
