whats the deal... 3SGE beams camseals.

Postby lucasthefallen » Sun Jan 11, 2009 5:59 pm

ok im talking specifically about the redtop and greytop variants ( both identical, only difference is the ecu, and the grey top only every came auto )

i'd like to know what the story is with the cam seals, as the epc list's 2 different seals ( so i figured IN is different from EX ) but the epc doesnt specify which part number is what.
has anyone done cam seals on one of these? or perhaps know first hand what the story is?

one seal is grey with a thin "sidewall" and the other black with a larger "sidewall".

any comments welcome

thanks

If it's any consolation, someone with half a clue could have done and engine swap which required everything fabricated in half the time that I've taken so far.
