Exhaust for AE101, help with flanges.

Postby headshotnz » Wed Mar 04, 2009 2:40 pm

Hows it going,

I have a "carbon fibre" RPS exhaust lying round collecting dust, So im thinking about putting it on my ae101.

The thing is, I want to put some flanges on it,

Like this on has.

My exhaust hsa already got a 2 1/2" down the middle, was like it when i brought it, owner didnt even know.

I'v taken the cat out, because it was rooted, I have changed to a single pipe aswell, which already has an aftermarket muffler on it.

But i would like to get flanges on the RPS and the old muffler, so i can swap them over really easily.

I assume this is common and im not just pully shit out of my ass?

Any way, problem is, every where i have been, dosent sell flanges.

I'm based in wellington if any one can help me out.

Cheers, James,

all depends if you want 100% factory flanges, where they use a compression ring, or if you want flat flanges that use a gasket.

The later can be gotten from repco by order (from coby) , or try woolf mufflers in auckland. There is also another muffler wholesale type suppler in wellington, I cant recall their name.

Chase, they're way cheaper than Coby flanges.
