SW20 Electric Antenna Problem

Has anyone ever had a problem with the standard mr2 electric antenna before? Mine doesnt go up when the radio is on. Im sure its getting power as it is plugged in, do the motors seize or something on these? or do the masts sometimes need replacing? Thanks alot

yep they often fail
either (the most common) the toothed nylon belt they use to move the pole up or down has broken or (almost as common) the motor has failed
