Well 5kg is a bit, but what does any decent caliper weigh? They aren't made of feathers so I wouldn't be worried about 5kg. Just get rims that are 5kg lighter each and it will cancel out :lol:

yeah maybe - although my Ford rims are facking heavy!

yeah calipers weigh a bit, but 5kg is still quite heavy for a caliper, especially for a car and depending on the application i would be worried about it.
i would just consider the weight vs gains carefully. personally i wouldnt use hilux ones on a car. but its not my car and i have no idea what your going to use it for.

I want to put them on my GA70 Supra. I want to be able to take it to the track - do some hard laps, and not have them out-driven lol

Pukekohe isn't really a good test for brakes so I cant wait to take my setup to somewhere like taupo or something

i run the hilux calipers on my kp.. but only because they were free..

i'd look at maybe wrx or mitsi GTO as another option? also the hilux ones will take a s4 rx7 pad with a bit of persuasion...

here is the links i used when doing my brake upgrade on my hilux.

i used BA Falcon rotors with skyline 4pot calipers and some brakets that i got profile cut to give the right bolt spacing and offset.

if you want something decent you are going to have to lay down some actual money. i reckon the nissan stuff is real value for money, as long as you dont buy the trademe 'sweet for drift cars bo' version.
