Hey all
If I wanted to remove my spare tyre well, could I just weld in some semi rigid flat floor? Or does the shape of the wheel well add to the structural integrity of the car?

Talk to a cert guy. Wheel wells are designed to hold a spare wheel for when in an accident the rear wheel (in the well) acts an absorber. Hence why they check if you have one and it is bolted in when you go for a WOF.

you dont have to have one for a wof
but if you do have one it has to be bolted down
