SC12 vacuum lines

Can anyone tell me what the purpose of these vacuum lines are? I recently put a supercharger on my 20v AE86 and just blocked them off assuming they were for the air-bypass (which I am not using on this setup). I have since been told that they should be plumbed into the intercooler piping to 'equalize pressure' or something.

Anyone know for sure what the purpose of them is and what I should do with them?

Hi dude - I'm sure that they are to equalise the pressure inside the supercharger gearbox with the pressure inside the supercharger itself.
This is to stop oil being forces out of the gearbox through the seals I think.

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

In a factory setup the brown VSV connects the supercharger gear case and the end seals to the intake system before the throttle body, the ECU controls the valve.

Its to minimize the pressure difference between the end seals and the outside air.

Toyota wouldn't go to the trouble of installing them on the supercharger for no reason so I would plumb them back up.

Ah ok, sounds like it would be a pretty good idea to plumb them up then :P.
Thanks guys.
