Internals from Kseries k50 to Aseries k50

Postby torquedx » Tue Jul 31, 2007 8:37 pm

hey there did a search but didn't find what i was after. Blew 2nd gear in my k50 gearbox (behind a 4age) and am having trouble trying to find a k50 with a A series bell housing. Am wondering if you can swap the internals from a K series k50 into a A series k50 without to much hassle.
Any help would be much appreciated, cheers

answer is yes a50 an k50 internals are identical

i have changed complete internals between boxs before, prety tricky busines as they arent sidesplit open cases like a t series box etc

bringing up an old post, just want to know if k-series k40 internals will go into an a-series k50?

im in the same situation and theres a k-series k40 lying around here so im thinking of doing it if its possible....

maybe i could keep my 5th gear and use the rest of the gears from the k40?
