Underbody Sealers

Postby DeeCee » Thu May 21, 2009 11:53 pm

Was just wondering if I can use Rhinoliner plastic bedliner as the underseal for the car?

Its hard, durable but i've been told that it could be a warrent issue. I'm going to call up landtransport soon, but was wondering if anyone else had explored this before.

Thanks
Dave

I definitely think that the bedliner would be durable and would have good sound deadening properties but it might add some extra weight. Don't know why it would be a warrant issue though?

I'll save weight elsewhere (liking dropping a couple of kgs on my person lol).

exactly Chris, that issue of hiding rust and potential issues was mentioned to me, hence the q :)
