Ae101 superstrut PS racks vs normal ae92/101/111 racks

Ok, I got told by someone the other day that the ae101 superstrut rack is quicker than the normal racks from non superstrut models (ae92, 101, 111 etc).

But then I thought hang on the superstrut actually has less lock over all therefore cant turn in a tight radius.

So is the rack actually quicker than the normal, or do people think its quicker because it has less turns lock to lock?????

Hmmm, I'm interested in this also.

There's a "quick rack" for sale on Trademe, which I suspect is just a AE111 Superstrut one, which you can change the rack ends over to suit AE82/AE92/AE101.

I was thinking about one for the FXGT, but Barry brings up a good point.
