So you're saying a 2JZ pulley fits perfectly on a 2JZ pump?

And that confuses you?

so yours is a 2jz engine? yes the 2jzge pump fits, but there's a couple of different versions. you didn't state what engine you were using, most of this conversation was about converting a 1jz, not a 2jz.

for converting from hydro pump on the 1jzgte or the 2jzgte, you can use the 1jzge or 2jzge pumps, or the 1jzgte pump from the z30 soarers. unsure of the exact part numbers off my head though.

I have a 2jzge with a 2jzgte vvti head

well i thought i would ask as the blocks are similar and the bolt spacing etc are the same for the water pumps on the blocks themselves

and since i didnt have a non hydraulic pump to start with i thought i would let other people know that there was a bolt on using the 2jz pump too. just sharing infomation thats all. i have the part number somewhere

Perhaps if you improved your capitilisation, punctuation and grammar it would make the point you're trying to get across more legible?

Any version of 1JZ or 2JZ without the hydraulic fan pump should be interchangeable. The hydraulic fan pump version uses a different pulley with a single bolt mount and less ribs, the non-hydraulic waterpump uses the standardised 4 bolt pulley mount and more ribs.

Curiously enough also, the same serpentine belt can be used for 1JZ or 2JZ despite the increased block height of the 2JZ.

I took mine off the 1JZ-GTE and whacked it on the 2JZ-GE when I removed the air-con from it.
