Ae101 FXGT Q's

Postby blackfxgt » Tue Jul 14, 2009 8:41 pm

Hey guys,

Quite new to the Toyota scene, just picked up a ae101 FXGT.

Have done a search but cant seem to find a clear answer. Will the following parts fit a 1993 FXGT without superstrut suspension?

Just after the springs, will use my own shocks.

Above without a boss kit etc?

Hey :)

The springs you are looking at are for an AE82 FXGT which are 1985-1987, your car is an AE101 which are 1991-1994. A set of new springs are not to expensive but as Crampy mentioned buy some good ones :) Tein, Lovells, TRD etc, others can sag and will not be captive so you will fail WOF's

Steering wheel on the other hand will bolt straight on :) Actually all most any Toyota steering wheel will so you wont have too much problem here.

Thanks for the reply guys,

The reason im not willing to fork out for new springs is this is my daily and I picked it up for cheap. However If anyone has second hand front springs (dont need the rears), let me know.

Well if it's a daily, just leave it stock then.
The stock springs will be better than some $hit ar$e second hand ones in my opinion.
