in regards to sump bolts I think alot of us have learnt to not use high torque ratchets/bars etc on them, I did after snapping quite a few off one of the 1j sumps then it leaked oil when i was parked on a slight slope on the side of the road, was friken bad! I def learnt from it tho.

Also have done a set of 4age big ends without taking the motor out and those sump bolts were o so f*cken fidly to do, a mish but didnt snap any. so yes we learn and have fun :p

a high quality torque wrench that can do 0-30 nm will generally cost around 200-300+ :evil:
