blacktop ISCV

Postby ke_25 » Tue Dec 15, 2009 11:56 am

HEy,

i have decided to go quads now on my 4agte 20v build, and

i was going to get a vacume cover CNC'd because 1 it looks better, and 2 my one is damaged, but my question is, do i still need the outlets to run the ISCV?

i will be running a LINK g4 and the engine is going into a rwd corolla, so my question is do i still need to run teh ISCV? i will be tapping a 1/8npt hole with a vacuum barb on it for the vacume lines that link the 4 throttles, but then am still left with what to do with the iscv,

and if i do need to run it, where does the other pipe outlet/inlet in the valve itself go too?

help is appreciated

cheers shaun

You dont need to run that valve, Its for cold start.

I dont run it, not sure how good it will hold up to boost.... esp 30psi.

sweet, thanks again barry,

for the vacuum between the 4 throttles, do you still run that? tapped into the camber on top on the inlet manifold, and just block off the outlet for the ISCV?

and for vacuum for my FPR etc, all vacuum lines will need to be tapped into this top piece as its only place that will have true vacuum? is this correct?

So your using the 20v manifold part as well?

I run all vacuum lines off the top chamber, I blocked the one for the ISC valve with a alloy bung then tapped that out to fit another normal size hose fitting for the BOV so it looked tidy and I blocked the one off on the very top that is usually used for the PVC valve just to make it look neater.

for the FPR i used the little nipple where you see the vains from all 4 throttles running to.
