Im with everyone else, Nankang is the problem, DZ101's are a pretty good tyre that can handle abuse without falling apart like the Nankangs do, Seen it so many times on the cheaper brands of tyre in the 8 years of being in the tyre industry.

and +1 for talking to THASHZ. He da man.

It looks normal to me, perfectly normal for for a 5 year old, second hand tire thats had a lot of wear & very likely abuse from at least 2 different owners.
Replace it, it's past time.[/b]

Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalines.

Shit meets blanket.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Yeah I'm starting to think the same way too, since the tire on the other side is in good condition, no cuts. And this tyre has all these little sharp clean cuts, but others are right, the age of the tyre is not helping at all, maybe if I had better tyres it won't be so damaged when I drove over the said cheese graters.

Alright, DZ101 it is then.

I have super sticky stuff up front, good wet performance (almost got me in trouble quite a few times because the back end could not keep up with the front), the rears needs to last longer instead of more grippage, I'm sick of changing out tires so often.

tsoob, what ya change for swapping out 2 tires?
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

Have you guys tried Dunlop sportmax, much better than the DZ101's IMO. Run them on my evo, plenty of grip.

I have Dunlop SP Sport Maxx on the front, damn good wet performance. Which I really need since MR2's are prone to understeer in the wet during low speed sharp turns.

direzzas along with older fm901s have more than usual road noise so if and sport maxx are suposed to be quieter, dont knwo if that makes any difference to you.

iv been wanting to try the new ventus assymetricals out, they look pretty decent and are quite cheap and should be quiet as
