I know iOnic used one on his MR2, from what he told me they sound quite extensive for a piggyback unit

They've got a pretty awesome feature set for the price I reckon!

The only thing it couldnt do that I'd be wanting, is the ability to raise the factory rev limit.

So maybe not so good for an NA application where you need some more rpms than factory, pretty damn good for a turbo setup though I reckon!

Apparently (?) they're the only ECU so far that has been successfully used to retune the new GTRs without the factory ECU throwing a tanty.

Pretty much the best piggyback ECU for under $1k IMO. The feature list alone is similar to that of many stand alone management systems but for a fraction of the price.

Power Enterprise do sell them as a "P-Map" for the R35 GTR's. They demo'd them on their "Quad Charger" R35 (Twin turbo+Twin Supercharger) at Autosalon with ~700ps @ 4000rpm. Also won the award for best modified car of the year at last year's TAS.

Soichi @ ST was also quite impressed with the MapEcu2 on his work blog.

After tune..................*impression*
I recon better than some Japanese Piggyback ECU....such as ....something manage??
