AE101 Factory Option Airbag Light

Postby Dunny » Fri Jun 04, 2010 10:13 pm

Has anyone got a AE101 with a factory optioned airbag?

I have one in my 91 Trueno and I'm 99% sure it does not and never has had a airbag light on the dash. :?

If someone has one, where on the dash would it have been fitted? It's not down the left side display so only place I can think is the centre triangle with 3 spaces for lights between the gauge dials, where the hand brake light is.

Cheers

If its anything like the single airbag'd AE111s, from memory they have a mechanical airbag which do not use a warning light.

seems to be the way,

Anything with 2 or more airbags definatly has a light,
and the Toyota single airbag systems are mechanical so no light.

The light will probably still be in the cluster as they will all be mass produced the same,
but no bulb or wiring.
