Creaking in AE101 Fuel Tank?

Good afternoon all,

I had a problem with a crack in my original fuel tank so I bought one from a member and once I put it in and filled it up, I have noticed that it creaks all the time when slowing down and parking. Anyone else have this issue and is there any remedy for this?
Also happened on my old FX-GT AE101.

Hiya,

The internal baffles could be loose or becoming loose.. Not an easy fix without removing the tank..

its not the rear sway bar bushes is it ? i used to have a funny squeek for ages until i replaced them

its the internal baffles.. They always come loose in the fxgt's for some reason..

cant be fixed, gotta be replaced. On the upside, a fuel tank from any ae10x will work (sedan, hatch, levin, fx etc)
