Postby jeda teach » Sat Sep 04, 2010 3:56 pm

Missing the Map sensor on my 1JZ-GE engine. Are there any other toyotas that share the same Map sensor ? Can i adapt another one to suit of do i have to use the original sensor for that engine.

ring toyota and see if you can get a part number, so we can see if it is the same as the turbo JZ motors. With the jzge being N/A, i would imagine they are different.

2JZGTE has different part number to 1JZGTE (twin turbo) for MAP sensor.
Non turbo also has different part number.

As far as I know 1JZGTE single turbo does not have map sensor at all (I might be wrong here).

Have a look here http://www.toyodiy.com/
