That being the case, yes, you can mount one seat, because a rear seat passenger can exit as per normal from the rear seat using the other factory slide / tilt seat as their exit point.

you should try sitting in a race seat that actually fits you, as by that comment, you have only ever been in ones that are too small. with a correctly sized race seat you should be able to sit in all day comfy as

Oh my god, my Bride Zeta III fixed back was the most comfortable seat ive ever sat in. More comfy than many other recliners ive sat in.
There is a reason the rrp is over $1500, you get what you pay for.

My racetech is more comfortable than a stock seat for a long drive, in no small part due to having to hold yourself up everytime you go around a corner.

4. The adjustment mechanism of a driver’s seat:
a) does not operate, or
b) is worn, causing excessive movement of the seat.

Really? As far as I interpreted the VIRM, if you had modified the slider, or it didn't work you will need a cert, or repair it. However like most things with a WOF. If your car doesn't have it, it can't be checked. I had a raceseat in one of my old cars. We used the factory mounts, bolted an alloy plate to them, then bolted the seat to the alloy plate. Removed the slider.4. The adjustment mechanism of a driver’s seat:

I have 4009W's in my spare race car, and racepro's in my new one.
No comparison in build quality, but I actually like the lumbar support in the racepro better. Everything else, the racetech kicks ass.
I could just add a pillow to the 4009W I guess
