Hey all.

What do people think about running a hot or a cold spark plug in my 1G? Running 98octane gas

maybe go a number colder than factory going by whats in you sig. 7's

i run 7's in mine and it doesn't have any miss-fire issues since switching to mitsi coils.

Nothing.
It's completely dependent on what range it's running now & what it looks like, or if the engine is going to be run any differently then it is right now.
Track day? Otherwise the question doesn't make any sense and the octane is almost irrelevant.

I have 4ag turbo and i just use normal plugs, normal gaps.
How would you know when to use colder plugs?
The car runs perfectly smooth otherwise.

Do you try colder plugs when it starts to mis-fire?
Or is it a good idea to use colder plugs anyway?

If it's not broken, it doesn't need fixing.

Colder plugs might tend to misfire at lower loads/RPMs but might be a bit better when flat out.
Hotter plugs might be better for a worn out motor that fouls stock ones.
