Nah the injector is milliseconds.

I tried turning the over-all % of the map down, from 5% all the way till 40% less - the only result is it wants to stall even more...

I've reloaded the map several times. I've got lots of copies as I generally do a Save As and create a new file whenever I make any changes - like changing the rev limit or adjusting one of the auxiliaries etc. So it seems strange that all of a sudden a once good map that was created on a dyno has stopped working....

When I thought my coils were dying (getting another set this avo to test), I thought that might be causing the issues - but unburnt fuel in the exhaust will actually give a lean reading - rather than rich, which sorta rules the weak spark out as the main cause...?

hmm ok. maybe go back to your injector theory then. unless you have done something with the timing or cam timing. timing retarded far enough would cause symptoms it has. same deal if your a tooth or two out on the cams.
yeh missfire should show a lean spike

Thanks mate. Yeah I'll send my injectors off this week to get cleaned and tested - or hopefully tested, cleaned, then tested again.

Someone on trademe said he can do these for $60 each:

Could be an option...?

Ok injectors have been tested and are all flowing great with them a few % apart and averaging 500cc - which is interesting as they're supposed to be 440's haha.

So I'll rip the wiring loom out, AGAIN, and replace all of the sheilded wires going to the cam angle sensor, and make sure the injectors are running off a decent power source, and everything is earthed nicely....

I'm stoked the injectors came back so good, but it now also means more work for me haha

surely bad CAS wiring or interference should result in a shithouse rpm in your datalog?

Could it be something silly like fuel pump /voltage supply, or blocked filter??

Have you got a gauge for fuel pressure?

Yeah I thought that too about the CAS wiring.....

Fuel pressure is steady and holds fine. The regulator seems to be adjusting the fuel pressure according to manifold vacuum ok.

I've checked the fuel pump voltage and it appears to be fine. I have the pump running off a relay. I've checked the flow out of the FPR and it seems strong and constant.
