2zzge - bleeding clutch

Postby dxtawagon » Tue Mar 01, 2011 5:46 pm

hey,

quick question.

ive bleed brakes before (down, up and loosen/tighten the nipple) but is it the same process for the clutch?

i.e loosen nipple and press clutch pedal, tighten then release clutch pedal?

car is a 04 fielder with 2zzge if that makes any difference?

reservoir also services the brakes (ABS)

cheers

Yeah thats how I do them, you might find you have to lift the pedal back up, and I like to go for a while (two people make the job way quicker) till I see fresh fluid coming through.
