Celica isn't a good car to either do a dodgy or non dodgy RWD conversion.

Don't know how far you've pushed your's but the 185 has a very forward weight bias. The ST205 not quite so bad but mine still weighed a massive 64% forward. When you push the car you can see how it likes to rotate forward of the drivers seat. Very differnt to most other cars.
I don't think the tunnel is wide enough for you to push the engine back far enough to make the car perform well, let alone safely. You'll end up with no room to put your feet.
If you're that in love with the 185 shape, and you're equally in love with RWD then I think you're going to have a huge project just to make the car considerably worse than what it came from the factory.
You want a big engineering project then you could make it into a replica rally or a rally car. Would perform considerbly better than any RWD conversion, and would be considerably more exciting.
With a bit of talent drifting with the 185 isn't that hard. It's even easier on shingle.
