can someone please confirm for me where the ae101 knock sensor is for a silvertop 20v.

Back of the block, between #3 and #4 cylinder, ~ 3/4 up.

Yeah, hope you got small hands and ridiculously long arms. Not the easiest to get to!

i was under the car yesterday changing over a bung inner cv and had a tried to find the knock sensor, crickey tighter than a nuns c*nt up there.

Turns out something in gearbox is amiss, suspect its the diff thats playing up as its been whineing for long time, ~2 years, occasionally clunks around like crazy through all the gears.

Im not goign to bother playing around with the knock sensor until i decide what to do about the gearbox problem
