ST215w caldina injector upgrades - anyone done this?

Postby TWSTD » Mon Apr 11, 2011 11:23 pm

Has anyone here upgraded their injectors in an ST215w caldina or a 3SGE altezza? I need to find out which other vehicle fitments are compatible. I know they are top feed high impedence, however a resistor pack can be used if only low impedence are available. Neeeding to go around 800cc but sard dont list anything so I need to find out what other vehicle injectors can be used. Maybe GDB Impreza? They look similar and are also high imp top feed:

I did other way around, I used ST215 injectors in ST165 rail. So assuming you can use normal sized injectors (ST215 are skinny) in ST215 rail, you can use multitude of top feed injectors Nippon Denso style.

So are you saying that despite the caldina injectors being "skinny" the overall length and fitment are the same as standard evo / nissan top feed injectors etc? (exclusing electrical connector of course which may vary).

Yes, and I remember my mate used Mazda (Familia Turbo) injectors in his turbo 5EFE which originally were same fitment as celica (ST165, top feed).
