G Series 8inch & A series 200mm Diff info

is the LSD carrier in a G series IRS diff wider than the Carrier found in a G series beam axle? or is the difference between A 200mm series and G 8 inch series?

yesterday i looked at trying to put together a 4.3lsd to go into our supra for trackday & autocross use, and the carrier in the G series beam axle donor head is approx 15-20mm narrower than the A series 200mm IRS. the bolt spacing on the carrier for the crownwheel to bolt to was different aswell meaning a CW & Pinion swap wasn't possible either. I'm sure i read somewhere of people doing this swapping.

Hi Shane, Im not 100% sure but I always thought it was the 4.3:1 CR and P from a Hi-ace van/ute was the part people used for the JZA80 final drive swap.

There is the parts numbers for the bits you need on the US supra forums as thats where I read about it. Ill try and find it for you next time im on there.
