Planing on entering the port road drags next month, as reading the entry regs it says "Helmets must be approved by Motor Sport New Zealand. Helmets with NZS 1884 are no longer acceptable." Mine has AS/NZS 1698:2006 on it. Does this mean it will be out of date?

Nope AS1698 is still a current standard

The old NZS is dead (and has been for ooooooo, fifteen years maybe)

Port road street drags - 1/8th mile

A great day out if you want to go for a skid but DO pre enter early as spots go fast!! Raced last year and it was a bit of fun!!
