Postby Mike- » Tue Dec 06, 2011 12:12 pm

how do i tighten the fan belt on a 3L hiace (2.8l, code 3L)

96 hiace, the dual fanbelts are loose as $&#$% and squeal all the time.

cant really see how the are tensioned, but if someone can tell me where abouts on the tensioner im aiming for,

is it like an alternator, power steering or cambelt tensioner

the tensioner bolt is accessed thru the little rubber flap by the drivers wheel, no way i wouldve figured that out without the internet.
