Weber carb 32/36 onto 3y engine

Just wondering has anyone done this ?
I have got a carb out of a cortina and have a adaptor plate..

Any help or tips to install this would be great ?

If the cc rating for the engine is around the same then it should be fine

put them on 3T motors plenty of times.
make sure carb is in good nick especially pump diaphram and fuel inlet union. the union is a press fit but can come loose and allow fuel to end up in engine bay.
