SC14 questions

Postby FST4RD » Tue Jan 17, 2012 5:38 pm

Hi all.
I have a Mitsubishi Starion, turbo was removed by the previous owner and it's been running N/A.
I could go down the road of getting another turbo and fitting it (I still have the exhaust manifold) but that would be boring.
I love driving supercharged cars, I used to have a AW11 supercharged and drove my friends AE92 and AE101 S/C as well.

With the SC14 is it as easy as afixing it to the side of the motor, hooking the AFM and piping to the intake, running the exit through an intercooler and then into the intake, running a belt from the S/C to the pulleys on the motor (making sure the pulley sizes are the right size so they don't over speed the S/C), then hooking the electric clutch up to a power source (and possibly a switch)?

Yes thats the basic idea, pulley alignment and size/ratio are the most important things

Awesome...
Now just to see if the gearbox would survive the constant thumping from the S/C...
Going to be a track car :D
