Looking into spending some coin on the 2TG in the trueno and after some advice on what to do.
I'd like to get the head reconditioned. 292/11.7mm spec cams seem to be recommended. Port and polish, bigger valves. I am guessing that will mean bigger carbs Webber 40's or 45's, and I'm guessing that will mean a new intake manifold.
I'd also like to raise the compression if possible, but don't want to go as far touching the bottom end. THinner head gasket? Have read that the head should not be surfaced more than 1mm.
Would like to get 150-200rwhp.
Will put a lighter flywheel in as well. Already have extractors/full exhaust.
I would also rather send the head to someone that has worked on these. DOn't care if I have to send it to NZ/Japan/USA.
Budget, Id prefer to stay under $4k
