Blacktop 20v Running very lean no power URGENT

HI guys
just got my 4age blacktop going in my AE85 but it's detonating. No power or response over 3,000 rpm. Starts and idols fine.
Triggering knock sensor and going into limp mode. IF the knock sensor is unscrewed it runs crap still seems to be no fuel. I'm running a 400hp fuel pump so will try a lesser pump to see if the injectors are over loaded.

Please help would really like to have running for sunday. If anyone has a timing light I can borrow it would be a great help.

fuel pump is irrelevant thats what a fuel pressure regulator is for, bridge t1 and e1 in the check connector and check for error codes 1st (assuming the check eng light has been wired up)

may be bad wiring also since its a conversion, might need to check that too

Also was it a known running motor before install? Any chance of it being a fresh rebuild and the timing screwed up?

It is possible to outflow the regulator and get a higher fuel pressure with a massive pump installed.

Although that obviously wouldnt cause it to run lean.

Since its a RWD conversion, what have you done with the distributor?

If you've relocated it, then obviously the timing needs to be set correctly.

Although as said, +1 to checking for error codes first though!
