2JZ-GTE Cams

Postby Makaveli » Sat Jun 02, 2012 11:11 am

Hi,

Anyone with a Supra or Aristo or anything similar. Which aftermarket cams do you have? Why you chosen this particular set of cams?

Two that I have been thinking about are the HKS 264 or 272
or Kelford Cams. Kelford Cams seem to have more lift.

Car is an Aristo, I want response but with slight improvement over stock. I was thinking about HKS 272, but I think probably HKS 264 would be more ideal for a daily driver.

Any thoughts?

Regards,
Sergei

I would have though the 264's would have been a better option with an auto...you lose more low end torque with more duration.
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

What turbo do you have, and how much power are you making?

Also, is it solely a street car?

At the moment factory turbos. But later on two small turbos like GT-RS or GT28.
