For the altezza 3sge beams fuel entry is on the top (above where No 3 injector is) with both ends of the rail blocked off (blind fuel rail)

here is a close up photo

Not sure about the red top beams though..

From memory it's the throttle body end.

Why?
I had to ask...

thanks guys. engine is from a st215 caldina, inlet is on one end, outlet is on the other, so a little different to the altezza unfortunately

putting a beams into an sw20 and had a bit of a brain fart looking at the fuel plumbing, at first glance the regulators on either end looked identical, and the gen2 3sge has the vacuum-referenced regulator on the non-TB end, so i had it hooked up that way

upon closer inspection, the TB end on the beams engine HAS a vacuum reference, while the non-TB's fitting is actually a banjo fitting under what looks like a dummy regulator.

short version: fuel enters the rail via the banjo fitting on the non-TB end, returns out vac-referenced regulator, TB end. this could be caldina-only though (everything else seems to be bloody different too!)

One of those is a pulsation damper.

Ahh, yeah thought you must be talking of the red top version after I had written most of my reply. Glad you got it sorted

Although there's a port for vaccum reference on the FPR, it isnt connected to anything from factory.

Dont need a vaccum line to it.

Just fuel in fuel out.
